“And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground” (Luke 22:44 NASB).
When we are stressed, our temptation is to be distracted from prayer. Notice that the greatest of agony made Christ pray even more. Even when blood began to bead from His pores, He continued to pray.
There is no greater comfort for the fearful than God Himself, and no higher calling for the anxious than to submit to His will. When you are stressed, suffering, and afraid, let the weight of your worries bring you to your knees!
